*Establishment
Ondokuz Mayıs University Department of Health Management was opened on 26.07.2012 and started accepting students in the 2015-2016 academic year.
**Degree
Graduates of the Health Management Undergraduate Program receive the title of "Health Manager" following the decision of the YÖK Executive Board dated 20.08.1998.

Admission and Registration Conditions
The student who wants to enroll in the department must complete the processes / pass the exams determined by ÖSYM within the framework of the academic and legal legislation of the university.
Rules on Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, in-formal, non-formal)
Students studying at Ondokuz Mayıs University Department of Health Management may be exempt from some courses within the framework of specific regulations. If the content of the course taken at another institution is compatible with the content of the course given and is approved, the student may be exempt from the course for which he/she requested exemption.
Qualification Conditions and Rules
Students who complete all of the program's compulsory and relevant elective courses, complete 240 ECTS in total, and reach a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate from the program successfully.

The Department of Health Management was established to contribute to the practical, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services carried out in the health sector, to increase the performance of health systems, and to increase the health level of society and the efficiency of institutions providing health services.

Health Management Graduates;
- Inspectors, experts and assistants in Ministries,
- Administrative and Financial Head in Public Hospitals management units, -Manager and deputy manager, according to professional and success experience,
- Administrative and financial affairs coordinator in private and university hospitals,
- Specialist and assistant specialist in public and private health and insurance institutions, employed as consultants and administrative personnel in industrial organizations that produce pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Students who graduate from this program can apply to study in graduate programs.

Department of Health Management, Measurement and Evaluation; Midterm Exam: 40% Final Exam: 60%.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, students must successfully pass all courses in the program. In this program, students must complete a minimum of 240 ECTS and have a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
